5 miles from Ballyshannon gets very busy In the summer with All sorts of surfers and some kite Flying.Roosnowlagh beach is beautiful 3km long with firm smooth sand. Beach can disappear at high tide. Best winds for kitesurfing : SW to NW. The wind is fairly reliable, 10-30 knots. An onshore wind is westerny wind and it’s quiet common.
